Studio Spotlight - Santa Fe College Brings Scrub Daddy to Life

In this edition of our #StudioSpotlight series, we’re shining a light on the creative work coming out of Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL.

Last October, Marc Shaboz and his advertising class took on a class assignment to create a spec ad inspired by Scrub Daddy, using Vū One as their production platform. As part of the course, students pitched multiple product concepts, with one idea selected for production.

The chosen concept was brought to life over two intensive three-hour sessions, combining creativity and technology with a playful edge. Designed strictly as a student project, the finished spec ultimately extended beyond the classroom and was later shared across Scrub Daddy’s social channels in the UK and EU.

The project is a strong example of how classroom-led experimentation can lead to polished, real-world work when students have the freedom and tools to explore big ideas.
